The compact octagonal body measures just 10. 5 centimeters capped, small enough to disappear into a pocket or the coin pocket of jeans, yet it posts to a full-sized 13 centimeters for comfortable writing.
The injection-molded ABS resin body is lighter than metal alternatives but surprisingly resistant to cracking and scratching. The steel nib is smooth and reliable across extra-fine through broad widths, and replacement nibs screw in without tools.
Kaweco accepts standard international short cartridges and the Kaweco Sport converter for bottled ink, keeping the pen compatible with the widest range of inks available. The clip is sold separately, which some owners view as a feature — the pen carries perfectly without one in a pocket.
