The 70-denier high-tenacity nylon taffeta supports 400 pounds — enough for two adults — while packing down to the size of a grapefruit. The triple interlocking stitching at the gather points distributes load stress across multiple seam lines rather than concentrating it at a single failure point, which is where cheap hammocks tear.
